Our letter to patient's regarding coronavirus COVID-19
First we want to say we sincerely hope you, your friends and family are healthy during these potentially stressful times.
We want to take a moment to update you on our office policy.
We want to reassure you that we are doing everything we can to avoid limiting access to healthcare during this crisis.
During this outbreak we are able to do virtual appointments through telehealth. Medicare and insurance companies are allowing payment through telehealth visits during this crisis.
We of course ,will see you in person by appointment if necessary.
Please be assured that at all times this office has practiced universal precaution guidelines. We are also taking extra precautions based on CDC recommendations to ensure your safety.
Important if you think you may be infected with COVID-19 please contact us in advance before coming in. We can instruct you on where to go and how to proceed for the safety of all.

John W. Rinker, DO
Dr. John Rinker, DO, has been a leading family medicine practitioner for more than 33 years. While large corporations now run many medical practices, Dr. Rinker proudly owns and operates his family medicine clinic in Pontiac, Illinois.
Dr. Rinker is passionate about the doctor-patient relationship and never rushes through appointments. He takes the time to get to know each patient personally and works diligently to treat the underlying cause of every condition. Unlike large practices where patients may see any provider, Dr. Rinker meets with each patient who visits the clinic.
Dr. Rinker is a 1985 graduate of the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University. At his practice, he specializes in family and emergency medicine. Board-certified in family medicine and osteopathic manipulative therapy, he's affiliated with several hospitals, including St. Margaret’s Hospital, St. Joseph’s Medical Center, and St. James Hospital.
In addition to family medicine, Dr. Rinker has served as a hospitalist, a hospice medical director, and an emergency room physician. He has diverse experience with annual physicals, well-child check-ups, immunizations, DOT physicals, urgent care, and chronic disease management. He also provides skin rejuvenation, lab services, women’s health services, and allergy management. He can also help regulate his patients’ hormonal health.
Dr. Rinker serves entire families from newborns to seniors with customized health care.
